Body Conditioning
This is an individual exercise based programme comprising core stability, stretching and strengthening exercises with an emphasis on postural control. A broad spectrum of people can benefit from body conditioning:

• People who find it difficult to exercise and keep fit due to problems such as back pain.
• People who find general exercise classes are too easy or difficult.
• Athletes who want specific work to improve performance.
• People who want one to one exercise supervision/coaching.

What to expect

Body Conditioning will require a minimum of two 45 minute sessions with an experienced physiotherapist. The first session will be a detailed assessment of your movement to determine your areas of weakness and stiffness.

Following this session the physiotherapist will compile a body conditioning programme specifically for you, which will be taught to you during the second session.

Once this program is in place you can complete it on your own, in a one to one body conditioning session or in our body conditioning circuit training. Re-assessment and progression of exercises is necessary as you improve.

Please contact Debbie for more details regarding body conditioning circuit training times and availability.
